Residential Services
MooreHaven’s Residential Services are provided in four Community Homes within or in
close proximity to Tipperary Town. The focus of our community residential services is to
provide a home like atmosphere in an urban setting close to all amenities. The community
residential homes are designed to meet the needs and wishes of the people living there, in
line with the National Quality Standards (HIQA, 2013).
The Community Residential service provides a 7-day residential service for 52 weeks of the
year, for adults with an intellectual disability. The service is designed to meet a range of
needs, from mild to moderate intellectual disability.
All centres providing residential services to adults with disabilities must be registered with HIQA by law and will be visited by their inspectors to ensure that the service is providing an appropriate standard of care. All residential services within Moorehaven are registered with HIQA.
