Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Reporting to: Designated Day Service Manager

MooreHaven is seeking an experienced and motivated Hub Coordinator to join our Day Services team.

As Hub Coordinator, you will play an important leadership role within the service, supporting the Day Service Manager with the effective coordination and delivery of services within the hub. You will provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to staff while ensuring that the people we support receive high-quality, person-centred services.

About the Role

The Hub Coordinator will:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, direction and support to staff within the hub.
  • Support the development and implementation of meaningful Person-Centred Plans (PCPs).
  • Ensure staff are supported to deliver services in a consistent, person-centred manner.
  • Promote choice, independence, dignity, inclusion and active participation.
  • Support the development of programmes and timetables based on the individual needs, interests and aspirations of people using the service.
  • Promote meaningful participation in community activities and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Job Coach to support employment and vocational opportunities.
  • Support staff supervision, development, training and performance.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture based on respect, communication and engagement.
  • Support the Day Service Manager with staffing, coordination and the day-to-day running of the hub.
  • Contribute to service development, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure organisational policies, procedures and relevant standards, including New Directions, are implemented effectively.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A strong commitment to supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
  • An empathetic and person-centred approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with people supported, families, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • The ability to provide effective leadership, guidance and support to staff.
  • Flexibility and the ability to respond effectively to a changing service environment.
  • A positive approach to teamwork, service development and continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements

  • A relevant Level 7 qualification, such as Social Work, Applied Social Studies or another relevant qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within the intellectual disability sector.
  • Excellent computer literacy and IT skills.
  • A full clean Irish/EU driving licence.

Desirable

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in health and social care.
  • Train-the-Trainer qualification or equivalent.
