Permanent Support Worker – Residential Service (Tipperary Town)33hrs per week

The MooreHaven Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Support Worker to join our Residential Service in Tipperary Town. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred, home-like environment where dignity, respect, and independence guide everything we do.

Relief shifts are also available across our residential services for those interested in flexible or additional hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities while promoting independence
• Provide personal care and implement individualised care plans
• Encourage resident participation in community, social, and recreational activities
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and contribute positively to the team environment

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (or equivalent)
• Minimum 6 months’ experience supporting adults with an intellectual disability
• Full clean Irish/EU driving licence
  • Learner drivers with a test booked will also be considered
