We are currently recruiting Permanent Full-Time Support Workers to join our Tipperary Town Residential Services.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team, working with adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities in a person-centred, home-like environment. As a Support Worker, you will help residents live as independently as possible while promoting choice, inclusion and meaningful participation in their local communities.
Relief opportunities are also available across our Residential Services for those interested in flexible or additional hours.

About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and choice.
- Provide personal care in line with individual support plans.
- Encourage residents to achieve the goals identified in their Person-Centred Plans.
- Support participation in social, recreational, educational and community activities.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies.
- Attend training and contribute positively as part of the team.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare, Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience supporting adults with an intellectual disability.
- Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.
- Applicants with a learner permit and a driving test booked may also be considered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, flexible and person-centred approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
