Join Our Team – Residential Support Worker (Full & Part-Time Roles)

The MooreHaven Centre is seeking enthusiastic and caring Support Workers to join our Residential Service in Tipperary Town. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred, home-like environment where dignity, respect, and independence are at the heart of everything we do.

We have both full-time and part-time positions available:

Full-Time Role

• 141.5 hours over 4 weeks
• Split across two residential houses:

Part-Time Role

• 103.5 hours over 4 weeks
• Split across two residential houses:

Relief shifts are also available across our various residential services for those interested in picking up additional hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents in daily living activities and promote independence
• Provide personal care and implement individualised care plans
• Encourage participation in community, social, and recreational activities
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive team environment

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (or equivalent)
• Minimum 6 months’ experience supporting adults with an intellectual disability
• Full clean Irish/EU driving licence (learners with test booked will be considered)
